"I was raised in the Top End. I grew up fishing, hunting and camping out on remote 4x4wd adventures with my 'can do' everything family. I love this place and I have a passion for NT tourism. I studied land conservation up here when I left school so I could live and work out amongst the glorious landscapes. As for now...? Now I write and sing about them!
This clip is my chance to give back to the NT. I would not be the woman I am today without being raised up here...oh the croc stories I could tell haha!! Wherever I go I seem to be cheerleading for this epic place and now I get to show my friends from all around the globe my beautiful home. So to my dear NT family, friends, followers and tourism mates...this one is for us! Thanks for getting behind me to bring the legends from The Filmery up to Darwin to help me put NT under the spotlight! I've had the best of the best writing, recording and filming this track with me so I know you'll absolutely love it and I want you guys- my NT mob - to be the first to see it!" - Mel Gray xo

This event is part of the "Sharing Stories" Movie Night Event being held in line with the Nitmiluk Festival. Parts of the music video were filmed around this region and the Jaowyn people and Nitmiluk Tours team were very accommodating and welcoming of the project.
"I feel honoured I get to show these mob what The Filmery created for us all to share! The team at Nitmiluk have been a blessing throughout the whole project (even donating a cruise for me to raffle off!) and now I think it's safe to say we have developed a lifelong mateship and professional appreciation for eachother!"

Mel Gray is returning to her favourite outback pub who gave generously to sponsor the music video. In return they get a feature spot on the clip! "Noonamah was my regular gig spot when I first moved back- it still feels like home when I walk in there! It's also not possible to go on an NT adventure without popping in on this pub on your way in or way back...how could they not be in this clip!!?"
